Andy De Brouwer
Andy De Brouwer (32) lives and works in Halle in Belgium where he has been employed as Maître d’Hôtel at the hotel-restaurant “Les Eleveurs” since 1994. He is wine buyer/sommelier for the restaurant and oversees wine sales at the newly established wine shop, Bodega.

Andy is a member of the Whisky Club Glen Garry Gent (since 1997) , the “Comité Interprofessionnel des dégustateurs Belges” (since 2000) and the Guild of Belgium Sommeliers (since 2003) where he has also served as committee member for the past year.

He has served on a number of international juries for the past 7 years, including the “Mondiale de Bruxelles”, “Les Vinalies de Paris” in Paris, "Baccus”, “La Mondiale du Pinot Noir” (Switserland) and the “International Taste and Quality Institute” in 2006 in Brussels.

Dermot Nolan
Dermot Nolan is a Master of Wine (MW) who lives and works in Dublin, Ireland (he passed the MW examination in 1997.)

Dermot works as a wine consultant and also works with The Wine Board of Ireland, where he is responsible for organizing the WSET Diploma course. He has been involved in wine education since the early 1990s and lectures to entry level students to MW students.

He has judged at a number of international wine juries:

  • The International Wine and Spirit Competition (UK) 1998, 1999 and 2000
  • Mundus Vini (Germany) 2002, 2003, 2004
  • Michelangelo International Wine Awards (South Africa) 2003
  • Les Citadelles du Vin (France) 2007

Juan Carlos Rincon-Dominguez
Juan Carlos Rincon-Dominguez (49) was born in Philadelphia and lives and works in London. He has served professionally on wine competition juries since 1990, including international juries for the past two years.

These include Brusssels, Belgium, Wine Tastings; Bogotá, Colombia, Feria del Vino; Vinexpo, Bordeaux; LIWSF, London International Wine and Spirits Fair; UGCB, Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux, London; Association Grands Crus Classés de Saint Emilion, London; Crus Classés 1855, Decanter Wine Magazine since 2006; London Annual Tastings of wines from all over the world since 2002 and Whiskey Live, London. Also served on juries: D.O.Cigales, Valladolid, Spain, 2005; IWC, International Wine Challenge, London; Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2007.

Antonio María Casado Tomé
Antonio María Casado Tomé (41) lives in Madrid where he is director of the “Nariz de Oro” (Golden Nose), the most prominent annual sommelier contest in Spain.

He is main taster of the Guía Peñín de los Vinos de España (2003-2007), and responsible for the English and German editions of that guide. Tony contributes regularly to Spanish food and wine magazine, Sibaritas, and is chief editor of Vino y Gastronomía as well as the “Guía Vino y Gastronomía de los 300 Mejores Vinos de España” Wine Guide (“Wine and Food Guide to the Best 300 Spanish Wines”).
